Vickie's Story
HI everyone!
Do you remember when we graduated and signed each other’s yearbooks with our version of ‘Keep in Touch’, totally expecting to keep those promises……well, some of them, at least. And then ‘Life’ happened and we got our degrees or started careers, enlisted in the military, got married, bought children and had houses — STOP! And swap those last 2 verbs - whew! There’s a lot more we could add but not necessarily in that order so the truth is . . .we might have been a little busy - I certainly was and that hasn’t changed.
A lot of us have established family members of the next generation — that’s fancy for ‘we have grandchildren now’! i just had another granddaughter in November, so that makes 3 for me.. I also have a grandson, 13 and another granddaughter who is 10. But, I’m still getting adjusted to that title. It just doesn’t sound right - I thought that title is for old people….oh, don’t say it!

last reunions. Since I’m lucky to have 2 schools for reunions, you would think I could show up at one.
I never know when they are - and they’re probably right on this app! But, I would definitely appreciate some reminders for NCCTS or OJR sent to any app or # you see me on….
So, now Ineed to send a package to my youngest, the “artist”, is in his last year in the Air Force/Space Force and deciding if he needs an art degree to pursue a computer animation career and My oldest son just got out of the Navy and became a farmer. My 2nd born son, inherited all our musicl genes and is an unbelievable guitarist and writes original music for his band, Mulberry Hill (on Spotify, Apple Tunes, YouTube and Messenger) and my daughter is my first born, sales and financial marketing whiz w/lots of degrees wants to find a job in California. (a great job here might change her mind)…
I welcome any advice to pass on to my children. I hope we can talk real soon - truly, from the heart.
